I had SEX with my cousin, now I am pregnant

Hi, I am 24 years old. I was in a relation (physical) with my cousin since 4 years. Whenever I had sex with him I made sure to use a protection. Last month when I missed my periods I went for a pregnancy test and then I got the biggest shock of my life. I was pregnant, and nobody in the family knows about it.
I told my cousin about it and he started blaming me and is not ready to take the responsibility and neither has guts to accept it in front of the family. The problem further elevated when my marriage was fixed last month. I tried to get it aborted but the doctor refused to do it as there was some kind of a complication.
Should I go ahead with the complication and get it aborted as nobody in the family knows about it? Also, can I lodge a complaint against my cousin?

Dear reader, first of all you must know that you are 24 and not 14 year that you don’t know what you were doing. Now, you must know what ever happened was well with your consent. First thing you must do is to go and tell all this to your parents, I know it’s difficult but you have no choice left. This is the only way any action can be taken against your cousin.
Another reason for you to tell this to your mother is because of the physical complications you are experiencing. I do not want to scare you, but pregnancy is not the only problem but there are other problems as well like STD’s or something else and you ought to get yourself checked for the same.
You are getting married; it is morally incorrect to keep all this to yourself. You are going to start a new life and this should be trouble free and normal. But, you must tell this to your parents as soon as possible. Your cousin cannot run from the responsibly and since this is not your fault alone he should be question as well. Now, there are n numbers of ways to make out whose child is that and don’t worry about the legal complications. Once you are through with telling all this to your parents I am sure half of your problems will be solved.
